Great Dargo Touring Rally
Friday 3rd September 2010
Arrive at Dargo.
Saturday 4th September 2010
Depart for ride at 8.30am Sharp , the days ride will take in some spectacular views of the Dargo district and will consist of steep hills and tracks , with fantastic views this will be a day to remember.
Distance travelled will be approximately 100 klm and the days riding will end at about 5.00pm.
Sunday 5th September 2010
Depart time will again be 8.30 am sharp and will take in some spectacular river views and fantastic scenery and will take in about 60klm
Accommodation is provided for both the Friday and Saturday nights, accommodation is not the local pub, but a very nice facility in the Dargo area about 2 mins from Dargo, full cooking facilities are available and it will be left to the individual person if they prefer to cook for themselves, by either BBQ or oven, supply your own bread and or cereals, or even bacon and eggs. This may help anyone if they prefer to keep costs to a minimum
On Saturday the local pub, which has a great ambience is offering meals from $15.00 to $30.00 and is a top quality meal.
Extended stay on the Sunday night is available if you do not want to travel home, just let me know before hand as to your intentions.
There are 12 vacancies for this ride and you will be taken on a ride that has been designed for all levels of riding, The cost of this ride is $400.00 per person , or a bit less if husband and wife wants to share a bed if they come as a couple.
The cost includes all accommodation in a top class facility and a deposit of $150.00 is to be paid as a booking fee by no later than Wednesday the 18th August.

that sounds awsome Grizzly, I've ridden up there before on a quad and there is some great terrain (if you like hills....)
bit too close to safari for me to go though.

There has been a few enquiries regarding the amount of distance to be travelled , on both days , and as a further clarification , this is an approximate . the reason being is to allow for people to stop and take pics and a few short rest breaks and brag moments.
If anyone has ridden in hilly and rocky terrain wil know that sometimes it is not fast travelling , i can assure you that this will be enjoyed, as many hours and days of pre trip riding and scouting has been done to guarantee an excellent ride .
There are a few other bonuses that will also be a piece of mind to riders as to the legality of the rides , this will all be granted upon riders submitting there interest and payment.
A lot of work has gone into the setting up so as this event can go ahead , and if is successful , future events will also be considered.
The ride is one that wont be forgotten in a while and even though it is scheduled for fathers day, how about you guys put a stop to the normal pair of socks and ask for this trip from your partners instead.

This rally will have a weekend sanctioned permit this permit is at a cost of $50.00, therefore alllowing the use of quads legally on tracks without retribution from and thus not being able to be caught for being unregistered.
This is a great oportunity to be able to ride with a great bunch of guys and gals, places are filling .
Also there has been a few enquirys as to availability , yes you can bring your partner even if she does not ride ,and will be at a reduced cost pls enquire

Hi Guys an Gals
Due to 6 cancellations the Fathers day ride in Dargo has been postponed to October , One group of guys wifes had organised a special fathers day treat,
Anyway the dates are as follows
Arrive on the evening of the 1st , and ride on the 2nd and 3rd of October which is the saturday and sunday , again this is the same itinery as previous for the september ride and also again the following weekend of the friday 8th October and will be riding on the 9th and 10th.
