We have the ball rolling for a weekend of Quad only Trail riding and activities that will suite everyone, from 2 different styles of trails, novelty and endurance, to Barrel and Slalom courses, the much talked about Quad soccer and more.
The proposed weekend is that of Easter 23rd and 24th of April,2011 with camping ,canteen, showers and toilets available. This will happen 55klms west of Kingaroy QLD at Hook-n-Sonya`s property "Pine View"
Run in conjunction with MQ, single event recreational licences will be attainable.
So who`s interestd?????

Terrific Idea!!!
This should bring the quad riders of qld [and others] all together at one place for a fun / social gathering with a healthy amount of competition thrown in.
Anything that you need done I'm more than willing to lend a hand .

Please note a cost is involved with rec licences around $20 and a fee for the trail ride weekend but we are doing our best to keep that to a minimum .
Being Easter we have an idea of doing a Red Emperor [reef fish] or two on the B.B.Q for Good Friday night down in the hall for anyone that arrives that day /night
Thanks for the offers of help, you may well all be put to good use.
We know this seems a long way away, Easter, but xmas is only 10 weeks ,apparently , so we`re giving you plenty of notice to plan.

I know date clashes are hard to avoid but the thumb pump 300 is on that same weekend. I know i would i come up to this event if it didnt clash, and i am sure a few others would too.

Hearing you Mick and rest assure we would love to have all you blokes and girls up here . Easter is not concrete but MQ are the ones that give us the date, we apply for a few and they tell us what we can have.
The theory being that , it`s not a race meet , and it`s quads only [ so we don`t interfere with 2 wheelers] we`re 300 klm`s away from Roma ["Easter in the Country"] Easter weekend sounds fine to them.
Long weekends are hard to come by to suite everyone!

| Hi. Just a thought, but when you run an event like this you dont have to run it through MQ. The style extreme event at caboolture was run on private insurance. MQ didn't like it but it was a good idea. Not so many rules and you can have any date you want. |

would love to come along, but we will be at Roma for easter  ... i'm sure you got it sorted but if you need a MQ affiliated club to run under im sure the QQRA would be ok with it...

Thanks ace, still sorting the fine print , just a thought--- anyone could call in here on sunday you know, on there way home perhaps or for another day of fun. 300 klm from roma , you could be here by 8pm saturday night unless staying at roma for the weekend . understand you probably got a job to do ace, but that`s a thought for everyone, camp the sunday ,relax head home monday .
