Yeah ben im keen as for a race! I cant wait to get on this beast. Yeah marty. I plan on doing a day up at stockton, ill bring my 250es as a tow rig incase something goes wrong. I have just jetted it exactly as the guy who I bought the motor from had it jetted. Our pipes are different though, he had an esr hi flow on it. Ive got the fatty. I still think it will probably need a fine tune. hey marty what do you reckon I should run for bottom end oil and also for motor oil, what ratio? I dont wanna run this bad boy lean. Too much time and money for it to go kaboom! cheers.

Youll find mate its more the fuel/Air mixture you have to worry about it going kaboom.Ive allways ran my 2 strokers on 600ml castrol tts to 20 liters of fuel never had a drama. In the bottom end its kinda personal preferance i guess any 2 strokebike tranny oil will be fine although in the years of ran mine ive allways used dexron 3 auto tranny fluid also never had a clutch or gear prob.Youll be right shes gunna be a weapon mate

The more oil you run in your premix, the "leaner" the fuel/air mixture will be. This is where you have to be careful. Wink

If you run too much oil in your fuel it actually makes the fuel/air mixture leaner. I think its because the fuel is thicker and passes through the jet less. Just like running a higher octane richens your mixture. I read that on airfoolers.

yeah its true mate. It is because the oil does not contribute to the combustion, so therefore less fuel in the air:fuel mix.
