event entry cost blow out has seen a lot the front runners pull out |

Good luck for the weekend guys , wish i was there but no luck with that this year.
Just hope the organisers have a good look at what they have done to the event and look at the costs and the way they have changed things, In saying this i hope it is successful for every one. |

| Congratulations to my husband John Iuliano (Streeto) for taking out the Quad section of this weekends Gascoyne Dash and also to William Nyholt (2nd place), Adam Gilbert (3rd place) and Lyndsay Pond (4th place). Kirk Williams and Logan Trigg put in a great effort both starting 2min behind John after day 1. Unfortunately for the both of them mechanical issues ended their race on day 2. John had a big stack 30km from the finish, bike flipped 5 times (counted by a spectator), bent the bars down to the tank and still managed to get it back to the finish line. Have to say this years Gas Dash was the best organised by far a real family event great activities for the kids, entertainment for the whole family well done to the Gascoyne Dash Off Road Race Club! and thanks to heath young for the tryes. and ivan and the boys for pit crew |

Sorry to bring up an older topic, but why was there a huge reduction in number of quad riders? And how much are noms now compared to how the used to be??
i was hoping to head over 2012 and give it a shot and looking at getting transport for 3-4 quads and gear to save on money, (We'd tow them across from cq)
so is it worth putting in the effort??
