Hi guys just wondering if anyone has a spare (working) CDI to suit an 85r. I want to try it on my R to see if it makes a difference in how this HEAP of you know what runs. Or better yet, anyone wanna swap a 350x for it?

Let me guess the one off ebay? haha. It would have to be cash adjustment for that. You can tell its 25 years old. Mine looks brand spankin!

yeah I have one on my watch list. thanks oldrodder. just cant justify spending another 200 bucks on something (like the stator) that doesnt fix the problem. may just have to bite the bullet if nothing shows up.

I have for sale a brand new honda old stock CDI to suit an 85r that I can bring over on australia day if you want to try it

Got a CDI here for you to test Matt, it's an 86 water cooled one, no reason why it won't work.

thanks leigh, yeah it would work but the plugs are different, the 86 has a double plug and the 85 has a single. cheers anyways.
