 |
|
Hey fellas,
I have an old 85 250ES, and am giving it the once over.
With a whole lot of new parts, bearings, cables, filters.
The question i have is: Are there any other models that have the same frame geometry, so i could fit a different rear fender ???
Its hard to know by looking at schematics.
I did hear a rear fender from a TRX250 or 250SX would bolt straight on, anyone able to confirm this.
thanks in advance. |

| Hit the online parts catalogues and see if they have the same part number as anything else... |

There are no fenders that match the 250ES part numbers as they were unique to that bike.
However the rear subframe, minus the rack assembly may be similar to a TRX300, ATC250SX, or older TRX250. This may make it possible to mount these fenders onto your ATC250ES, although the resultant look may not be that pleasing to the eye.
250ES were popular trikes in their day, I'm sure there are few wreckers around the still have the odd fender hanging on walls. _________________ State governments give us REC rego + area to ride ATVs legaly! TINTIT, you've got it all wrong mate. You don't have a sport bike held back by bar work, you've got the monster truck of the trike world! Dressed in its finest Steve Austin red tracksuit, complete with a black steel mustache!!
SuperReds are a tough as nails, reliable as the sun, and torquey as PheePhee Box during a job interview.
spend more time travesing mud holes, braving water crossings, towing traileres, and snaking through log infested riverbeds, and less time trying to launch off the nearest sanddune and you'll be as happy as a pig in poo. _________________ State governments give us REC rego + area to ride ATVs legaly!
