Gent's I want to give my Tecate a birthday. Can anyone recommend a engine builder who has a lot of experience with two stroke's. Preferably someone who has a working knowledge of older (KIPS) powervalve motors
I'm after a hone, new piston/rings but I also want to get it running right afterwards.
Last time I had it done, The machine work was good, there was some nagging jetting or ignition issues that I couldn't quite sort out and I want to get it right this time around.

Try a company called "Dyno Time" im sure he dose rebuilds then he can dyno it to get it running sweet .

first post here guys and am new into quads
BUT i have to agree with going to brett at this stage, i find him honest and knowledgable on quads. I can tell when someone is pissing in my ear and he doesnt.
He might be a hard nut to crack in the first 5 minutes but then warms upto you
anyone know any different ? |

I would say yes go to Legend quads as well or road and race in wangara . but NOT any other quad shop in perth !

spent many a $$$$ down with salty but he s local for me Russell up at dyno time is worth a drive north of the river both got dyno s

Try hamish engineering in Welshpool. I use him for all my machining. Or Legends they know what there doing aswell. Just dont go near the other quad shop in perth, a mate got his 700 raptor motor built there, it took 7 months, and it still doesnt run right  |

Hamish engineering, well thats a guy who's been around for a while. He did my Tecate in the first place, and, well lets just say I'm looking for someone else to have go.
I'm sure legends are great with quad engines, but quads haven't been released in single cylinder two strokes in twenty years. But I'll give him a ring anyway. Thanks for the advice.
