I think overall it was Larson, Cam Wade and then Beechey but I'm not real sure on it. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

I'd like to say thanks to Mick and Tiff for running this awesome event for us all along with the rest of the people behind the scences that get it all going.
I'll definantly be back again next year for another crack, and hopefully it will end better than this year, with this year my bike deciding to make real nasty noise before the start and then act fine, then die on me after I was second off the start, but it got sick of playing dead and decided to start again. All was good untill my 3rd lap when it wanted to rip a big chunk into the side of my tire, so after putting my speedway tyres on and making another half a lap it all went wrong in a big way with stuff smashing around everywhere inside my engine and it all locking up. So it was time for the ride of shame with me getting towed in by Rosey in the Ranger.
Apologies to anyone I didn't come and see before I left, I'd still be there if it was up to me but the oldies were nagging at me to leave so I didn't have much choice.
It was good to catch up with a few old faces and meet a few new ones too though, so if racing fails there is always a good time to be had around a campfire somewhere. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

The lad Sheridan from tassie is in the mix somewhere?,which would mean a Suzuki clean sweep! _________________ Phil..... |

The Interceptor was an absolute blast to ride. Lots of power and a plush ride. Nothing came loose or broke, just a couple of back tires are now on the "worn out" pile.

What an awesome event as always, Mick and Tiff put on an amazing show.
I'm sure i am not the only one with a story like this but a massive thanks has to go out to Beechey Roycroft and Thomas from the Polaris racing team. These guys are the perfect example of the comradeship that people in this sport have, I tore a CV boot on the sighting lap and these guys hooked me up with a spare one so i could race in the High beam 100 and bring home the win.
Thanks Guys you're awesome, couldn't have done it without your help.
ps. everyone else should get themselves an IRS Outlaw _________________ say NO! to ball sports |
