on saturday 16/04/11 i witnessed some of the best speedway racing ever, with 14 seniors and 5 jnrs.hats go off to the jnrs with speeds averaging 2 seconds a lap slower than the seniors in some cases.if u think a raptor 350 or worked 250 can keep up with lachlans 200 blaster bullet think again, man he was fast, and only due to him hitting the start tape in the final stopped him from getting a place in the final.the juniors race so well all night with levi correll coming 1st,jordan baker coming a very close 2nd with adian hough coming 3rd and courtney price just missing out of the final by 1 point.the seniors raced closely all night but the stand outs where dan jarvis, mel brandle and shane price.the vics gave a good fight but in the end the experence of the south aussies came through.in the final was greg mould, mel brandle, shane price and dan jarvis. and what a close fought race that was with alot of trye marks on peoples quad...lol. in the end dan jarvis came 1st,shane price came 2nd and greg mould held off a lot of pressure to hold on for 3rd and mel spun out and came 4th. thank u so much to troy mills who's hard work was so much appreiated and was hanging to get out there.cheers _________________ yeah mate nah |

i must agree that it was a great night with some great racing, it was a pitty to see lachlan ( in the juniors) hit the tape in the final but it is only his second race (the first was winning the s.a. state title). he will learn from it and be a better rider for it. congratulations to all the other juniors for putting on a great show WELL DONE.
to the big boys it was a close one all night with some very good racing. congratulations to dan jarvis on his second state title this season. thanks to the rest of the seniors for putting on a great show.
CONGRATULATIONS must go to Troy mills and all the other people who helped organize this great event and we all hope that the event continues to grow and inprove.
i hope to be there next season as a racer this time but once again CONGRATULATIONS to everyone on a great night |

There was some good racing thats for sure, there was some plain filthy racing too though which is a bit of a let down, but everyone still had a lot of fun and it all sorted itself out in the end. Dan Jarvis' bike is amazing to watch, never seen anything look so smooth and quick around a track. As for me one comment made was that it was the scariest race they had ever been in being stuck behind me.
Good job to all the juniors, they did a ripper job and I would be too scared to ride with them because they would probably beat me. Also to Stephanie Hough, the only girl out riding with the blokes and giving it a good go. Thanks to all the other riders out there aswell and finally to Troy, for doing so much for quads around here, putting so much effort into getting everything going. Only thing that would have made it better was if he could have riden with us. Hope he heals up as soon as possible and that no one buys his quad in the mean time, so he still has it when he gets that urge to ride again. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR KIND WORDS however there is one thing that is annoying me & that is this crap about DIRTY RACING going viral. Whoever attended this event will form there own opinion about" what they seen" or of "what they thought they may of seen" but we had 2 respected officials present and all riders were given the oportunity to speak to them & NO action was taken from all concerned "so was there a problem??". The point im trying to make is this type of talk does NO justice to our sport & certianly doesn't inspire ME to orginise another QUALITY QUAD SPEEDWAY EVENT , nor does it help me recuite new riders to this style of quad racing.
ATM im pumped to achieve a bigger & more spectactular event for next year but we need positive comments , i agree we have the freedom of speech but why set a precedent for people to work on that weren't even there, we all look at things in a different light but unless its positive keep ya thoughts offline.
Its fairly easy to turn up & race any QUAD SPORT but wear the shoes of a organiser & see how it feels to read & hear this stuff.
ONLY A POSITIVE STEP WILL MOVE FOWARD.
PS: this isn't a direct hit at you feral as ive seen & heard it elsewhere, your contribution towards the w/end's event was more than appreciated !!
Top Job mate & i hope you smash the TP 300 this w/end
LETS ALL STAY POSITIVE

I dunno about "the other places you have seen this" Troy, but I wasn't having a go at you running the thing, any of the stewards or any of the other people involved. People are going to talk about this whether it is on here or at other races or at other social things, same thing. . Sure some people might see what goes on and not care, others do and just don't say anything and there will be people who will talk about it.
Me coming to ride was nothing, I would have riden even if numbers weren't needed, just to get out and have a bit of fun and some time on my bike. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

fair enough feral , as i said everyone has the freedom of speech & i wasnt having a direct go at you but i do believe negative comments should stay of forum's thats all, im pleased with what i achieved & have had all posative feed back , NOT a easy thing to put together for the first time & if the support is there , i may hold another ... sorry to here about your engine failure at TP 300 but we all get that at times
see you round the tracks soon
