For those of you who have been in my workshop the white quad is finished.

I rode it for the first time today and i must say to all of you who helped me put it together ... A VERY BIG THANKYOU. I did have a name for her but I think she is a lot meaner than Casper ... Well..... its got balls so shes going to have to be a HE... lol .

First impressions .... its fast ... even though I had old tyres on the back this quad really flows along the road. Skinnys on the back just puts so much less pressure on the motor ... In my Opinion .. IT ran at 72 degree while I was riding and I was 4th and 5th all the time in the sand and open road.

I couldn't get my No Tox coolant which I love so I bought this other one in the pic.... I must say this stuff is better ... No Im not sponsored... My experience today this coolant is better. The quad just ran cooler I had to stop to get it up to temp 86 degree for the fan to kick in. I will be converting all my quads to this over time.

Digital temp gauges I love em.. I have them on all the quads and its just piece of mind to glance down and see what temp your running which i think is a must in Finke.

I have lost weight this year ...I'm around 80kg, fit and I'm really enjoying riding again .. My weekend riding with my best friend which has given me some passion to give things ago, riding is fun ... and make my friends proud they know me.

I don't think I will be making many changes to the quad ... this is what it has... the dust light still to come.

Where do you get the temp gauges and are they hard to "plumb" in?

I get them from my local go kart shop for $85 ... he just looked up one of his supplier books and ordered them in.

They only come with the probe .. I weld a socket in the raditator but most people cut their Radiator hose ... if your handy make your own or buy hose tails and tee piece from a hydralic shop. well worth the effort.
