I agree. Its disappointing to see two strokes not listed. Maybe something for our quad reps to discuss.

is the unlimited class an ozzie title class or a support class, would be a long way to go to be in the support class for last minute racing, or anyone else out of the act

after reading supp regs there is 1 practice round then 4 rounds of heats and then repercharge with whoever comes first then moves in to the finals track length is 690mtrs so would be guessing that heats would be conducted over 2 days

'Pro450' is a class name.
It refers to the Quads that can be entered as per GCR 22.4.1
450cc 4 stroke and 350cc 2 stroke with no oversizing tolerance.

You should contact the event promoter for any more information, and contribute to positive suggestions for them.
They may not have a lot of confidence with Quad classes and their ideal goals for Quads, and they may need to make decisions based on the entrants available.
Eg, if very low entrants they may choose to offer just the one 'Open Class' for all senior Quad entrants.
Hopefully they get heaps of entries and can offer all of the Championship classes.
And from there hopefully they look at running other support classes too.

Usually the quad classes at these events are popular with the crowd and the entrants do quads proud.
It would be awesome if we could get more support classes up, as the sport grows and quad popularity is realised.

Hi 450 dominator. Melissa Brandle will be going. If there is not enough Ladies, they will most likely be included in the PRO 450 class. This happened last year with no problems.

I have contacted both MA and the Promoter and the above 3 Championship classes are offered for Quads.
They need a minimum of 6 for each class, before they look at combining classes (possibly into a non-championship class).
The wording in their sup-regs is still not quite right, but in checking the entry and class criteria, 2 strokes are definitely accepted.

They sound very enthusiastic about running the Quads and are looking forward to running all 3 classes, so here's hoping they get the applicants.

and contact Darylene if necessary 0402 854 414 (between 4pm and 8pm)

come on everyone, we need to support this great event!
i have spoken with the secreatry & only 11 nominations have been receieved altogether(2 women, 6 in the 450mens & 3 in the unlimited)- they are unsure if it can be classed as an australian title at this stage Sad
so fill out the entry forms(its not too late!) & send them away!! we need to support quad racing and make it the biggest & best we can..
