This Sunday 9am. Anyone going?
http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/media/DecMedia11102604.htm
It states that
| Quote: | Mr. Murphy said Registration commences at 9:00 am, and everyone must register on the day at either Lavis Lane or Birubi Beach.
“Beach Vehicle Permits will also be waived for the day, for all registered participants,” said Mr. Murphy.

No it does not you would still need registration, but tell me why would you bother cleaning up other people's mess. If this is what you had in mind.
I have been riding up there for over 30 years and have never personally left any rubbish behind so why should I go and clean up someone else's rubbish just because they dont' care or are to lazy to take their rubbish with them. |

You said it Oldrodder!!!
We always take our rubbish with us, the campers are the biggest rubbish bandits.
Over the last month we have found heaps of junk out there, a 3 seater lounge in the middle of the RVA, a 4 man tent, dirty nappies that women cant be bothered taking with them, hundreds of beer bottles, pallets, car batteries and even a couple of UHF radios.
A few bins in the carpark or even a sign warning noobs about leaving their cars there overnight for some knob to torch wouldnt hurt. |

I dont really want to clean up other peoples mess (notice how its all rubbish that no rec rider would have left. eg, lounges, burnt cars, beer bottles, nappies etc) Australia day the A.T.C had a huge bbq with tonnes of cans of drink etc and i dont think 1 of us left anything behind.
Its just that only my 84R is regoed and i wanted to take a mate on the 82R aswell.
Might do a mid week trip then.
Or maybe i'll just pay for more rego! _________________

Oldrodder I think you will find this is about keeping this place a nice place to go. if garbage just piled up there you would be complaining about that wouldnt you?
support your environment and look after it, i understand you do that when youre there but sometimes we have to extend ourselves to make things right for the ones that dont. |

No it isn't a nice place to go anymore, one tiny little area to ride that is like Pitt St, and if you park on the wrong blade of grass they go off at us, but if you leave a few ton of rubbish behind or camp where your not supposed to they get away with it.
As Ben said when we have the big trike get together's we take enough garbage bags and make sure we take all our rubbish with us.
No sorry Haggle I am sick of cleaning up after grubs and rest assured the ones who dumped it there won't be anywhere near the place on Sunday. |

I thought babies wore nappies?
Seriously, you cant just blame mothers for this, you have to level blame at the whole family that would leave such items behind. |

| I have seen some rubbish in areas frequented by quads.. doesnt mean bike riders are responsible, could be hikers / horse riders etc.. but could also be quadies... if you can carry it in, you can carry it out. |
