Dont mean to be nosey, but how is the site supported?
Will you be looking into a membership scheme, or selling merchandise, or just rely on advertising money?
I've got plenty of ideas in this field if they're needed. _________________ (PeteW's missus)

Blaster Babe,
I'm keen to hear your ideas. MSN me to discuss.
The site is primarily going to be funded by advertising packages, which we're putting details together for now.
If down the track membership benefits may become available for site users, then we'll look at how to move into that at the time. At this stage if that was to happen, 'foundation' forum members would most likely be given an introductory charter membership.
If anyone else has ideas or things they would like to see on the site, let me know.

If you guys want to post video's why not just have a multimedia forum and then host your videos on http://video.google.com and link to them from this forum.
That way all of the bandwidth is paid for by Google and it is mighty fast....

Excellent idea CJL.
Video hosting is bandwidth intensive and increases costs no end. I'd encourage anyone wanting to do it that way to use google video. _________________ Patrick Jackson

yup, cant think of to many other forums that host video uploads either. being able to post pics without having to link them would be nice though. as long as you can restrict the file size to something sensible. _________________
