|
Just received delivery of a new bottom end for a customer with a sad 250R, This engine came out of a 85 250R which was pulled from the showroom floor when they were banned way back when.
Never ridden, only fired up at the factory for test purposes.
Why an 85 motor when they were banned in 86-87, who knows, I would have though all the 85s would have been sold but there you go.
This was not a cheap item but when your cases are flogged out, balance shaft is worn, gearbox is shot, guess you don't have much choice.
Anyway, glad to see another 250r pulled from the jaws of destruction, gotta keep what little we have.

Ive also picked up 2 new customers at Raymond Terrace , Adam & Glenn , both have 85 TRI-Z's that are currently being restored so they will be joining us soon on some ride days. _________________ 1989 TRX 250R
