Hi there
Just received my trikes today from USA.
Wondering about best oil and fuel mix to use on the 250r's. It has
been a while and octane ratings etc have changed since i had my tri-z in
1985. Any help would be appreciated.
Keep an eye out as i have brought a few extra over to offset my shipping costs.
2 x 1986 250r's
2x 85 350x's
1x 86 350x.
Pm me if anyone is interested.
Just in the process of getting them all up and running and make sure all sweet.

Most run 30:1 full synthetic.
No matter what you decide you will need to check the mixture as it may have been played with. |

Cheers thanks for that. Does it matter what octane you run and do you need to run a octane booster like the older cars?

| Depends what compression you've got but I'd start with pump 98 as a minimum. |

Yeah I run 22:1 and 98 octane (shell vpower)
I use castrol oil R30
Good stuff never had any trouble just goes stale fairly quick after mixed
Bike is an 82 250r no work done to engine just uni filter and DG pipe
Just my opinion I'm no expert
