This is an interesting read on dyeing fuel tanks.....im wondering if anyones tried this on there dreaded tecate tank?

im looking at getting an 87 era sun faded white KX tank of the same era as my tecate to give it a test drive on,Im thinking a BBQ with an old school metal rubbish bin on it to keep the temp up to speed or perhaps one of those old massive canteen urn's
