Looks as though Lancaster is killing it after day 1, Only 16 secs between 2nd to 4th and then nearly 8 mins to 5th
Cant see Troy Sheridan any where on the list *edit just had another look and had a DNF *

Matt McKay class 10...father of Josh McKay and was expected to go well after winning the Hyden 300 in 2010

Matt did either engine or gearbox in prologue unfortunately.
They had a horror trip to the event, breaking one axle on the trailer... and then the other... then Matts bike in prologue, Young Josh was going great up into 2nd until 170kms from the finish and blew out a shock and limped home..
Josh is a magic rider he won the Hyden Ironman in 2011 after his dad won it in 2010. Hyden has over 100 quad entries and is 300km's

| Matt also has just recently recovered from a broken wrist so he had worked hard to be ready for finke. Young josh is a great young talent not sure if they are going to head back next year but i would bet ye will do well if they do |

Josh blew a rear shock hose ( rubbed against frame)

Wow, just watched the 2012 video. About 2 nanoseconds of quad footage and to top it off they have a section at the very end that is just plain insulting!
The FDR committee really do not want us there!

Y13 and Y14 made it in the first 30 seconds , that was prologue day being hunted by the chopper, we were having some fun keeping out of the dust side by side, and they thought we were racing. [ and wasn`t it dusty ]

The footage of Ryan and i think one of the Sherridan boys looks great [ it`s on the second section of the dvd] and a few others bits and pieces, maybe when quads start getting in the top 20 that might change. Bit like the photo`s this year, a new company supposidley taking more and better shots, no more photo`s, no better shots and the biggest let down on presentation night not to get or see any. Ordered and payed for some finke shots on the 13-9-12, still have not recieved them, but they are coming!! Never mind we are already gearing up for next year.
