I always thought a helmet cam would be a nice thing to have but just assumed they were way too expensive.
I see some nice footage posted here by various members which brings me to the point of this post.
How much would you expect to pay for a helmet cam and where can I get one??

Cheers

I paid around $450 for mine delivered to my door when they first came out. Its a GoPro Hero HD model. Now they can be had for $350 and less.

There is another much cheaper alternative.

Its only $10. This is it

Heres the footage i got from the one i owned.

Its not meant to make that terrible noise, I was just lucky to get one that did. lol. It worked great till i got mud in it. eek

Nothing on Alibaba is ever good. Buying cheap for a video camera is not "the better option" you're better off buying something reputable.

Yeh really cant go past the go pro hero 2. It is abit of a spend but well worth it in the end.
