I was planning on building a NOS OEM 1986 ATC 250R but ive ran out of money and havent done anything with it for a few months, ive still got my Blue and Chrome 83R to finish and i would like to start shipping some trikes from the US to Australia but the only way i can start this venture is to sell off this unfinished project. This has cost me a small fortune and has taken a few years to gather these parts so im not desperate to sell and im not real keen to seperate it either.
The plastics are all NOS except for the tank which is very close to mint.
The Tank
The Seat is not NOS but its mint.
It comes with a NOS 85 bezel and a NOS 86 bezel and NOS light and bracket.
NOS harness and switchblock
NOS front and rear suspension
It also has a NOS chain slider, rear brake ressy, pivot bolt, owners manual and owners manual bag, Ohtsu P/V rears, handlebars (repro) and the 86R microfische. The tripples are polished. The frame has been sprayed metallic silver and will need to be redone Passion Red.
Heres a walkaround vid of it. Its only been mocked up for the pics and vid.
This will give you an idea of value.

This is what i was planning to build.
The shipping alone on these parts from the U.S has cost a fortune. If anyone is seriously interested feel free to shoot me a PM. I thought id ask you guys before listing it on ebay as im not desperate to sell it and would love it to go to a good home where its true value is appreciated. I dont reckon theres too many NEW honda trikes around anymore. _________________

| its a shame your not gonna finish that project, you have some awesome parts there, that has the potential to be one of if not the finest wateries in aus, I hope someone on here buys and does a build thread. If I had the coin I'd buy it straight away. Stu. |

Yeah its defiantely SWEEEEET. Ive always loved the 86R and i dont think there'd be anything cooler than having a stock new one.
Heres the one that Mike from Vintage Motorsports built.
Its now in the Honda Museum in Japan. It can still be done, heres an engine that i was super keen on.
I dont know how much longer parts like that will be around for though.
Oh well, if it doesnt all sell i'll post another build thread. _________________
