thanks for the compliments fellers!I do the best i can for a dirty old panel beater Very Happy. A revelation has come to light this morning,i had a customer come in the shop wanting to do a cr500 engine swap into 2004 crf250x....he offered me a straight swap for the frame above for his near complete rolling 250x chassis, ive accepted it as i have another customer who has the same model that wants the same engine swap. Therefore i will pump out 2 more at the same time,my one being.....wait for it.....a fully road registered trike!I have a friend thats a certified vicroads engineer who will issue the mod certificates to get it all above board.....i already have a 2009 450x with cr500 engine (full 12v charging system, hand beat 10.5lt alloy fuel tank and marchesini motard/standard dirt wheels) so ive been through the system before.
I think im going to be on first name basis with the local constablary when i get this one finished Very Happy
In regards to the swingarm im yet to get dimentions on trx450r swingarms but i may go down that route,if that turns to "profanity removed" i will most likely make one.
watch this space Smile
here is my crf/cr500 hybrid

this is why Smile It means yellow GTR,not a trike but fun none the less....i bought it when i was spending lots of time in japan at the age of 26 (now 37 and still have it!)Was dead stock with 5000klms on it back then....now has a massive array of mods and a safe 400 all wheel kw's.......its like riding a big sportsbike, its very reliable aswell.I dont use it much but when i do it gets the crap beaten out of it and just refuses to give up!

quite simple ritchie.....it was sh1t mate.....sorry to the four stroke lovers but i hate them......more moving parts, less power, more maintanance, more expensive....i dont see the logic Very Happy The pics of the frame chopped in half and the motor in the crapper then in the bin got sent to honda australia along with the pics of the bike honda should have built and a long email stating how they butcher the crf "x" range with the worst wiring to meet the ADRs(done in this country) ive ever seen in my life and my daughter could have done a better job.....lets say i didnt exactly make any new friends over it!

HaHa.

F#$k man, i cant charge you advertised price... your one of us. You should have said.
I spose, i should have picked up on it when i went snoopin through your purchase list and seen the KX stuff, the Tecate guards and... Oh yeah... thats right.. That sweet Tri-Z.
The tank your getting IS the one thats advertised, it does have light sand marks though and didnt want you to be let down.

As a buyer, Troy is an awesome c*nt to deal with. I'd like to think that you could make it to one of our rides mate.

Weve got one coming up in Oct.
We have a spare room.
Ive got a spare trike....

Offers there mate.
