Hi Fellow quad enthusiasts, Myself along with Tony from loveday 4x4 off road park are organizing an event for quad riders and trophy kart owners.
It will be a mx style flat track, races will around 5 laps and looking at 4 races for the day. Track is about 1.5ks and will be a fast track.
Trophy karts are basically quads with bodies and will the main event they are exciting to watch.
We Will have 3 classes Open senior, 200 to 300cc, and 90 to 125cc .
The first event will be a demo event to gain interest for this new initiative.
Doesnt mean you cant go hard though as there will be alot of spectators.
We are planning a prologue start where we can do a hot lap which will be timed which will determine where you start. This a great oportunity to gain more interest in quad racing for new members and for existing members.
There will be a full series next year .
camping is available for everyone saturday night and planning prologue for saturday afternoon.
Thanking you for your support and lets make this a great event.

Sounds Good.
Would I need a full MSA licence? or could I get a one day licence?
And would I need to be a member of any club?
Hi the track is being built as we speak but is a very wide track over 10m.
Day license would be fine but ill have to get back to you membership, im thinking prob not for the demo day in oct but prob yes for the series next year. _________________ Thanks to Triple A Racing

Probably a stupid question, but is it just the same as a mx track, or different? _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

Do the Trophy karts run under MSA as well?
Is it just you and Tony running the event or is a club doing it?

Trophy Karts run under their own event permit, insured through OAMPS.
QuadridersSA will be organising the permit for the Quad component. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA

Hey feral , it will be very close to a mx track but can give details when track is finished.
There will a tv crew from 4wd tv to cover the event so a great opportunity to get some good exposure and you and your sexy quad on the screen.
Loveday is on the outskirts of barmera.
would be great to get as many quads as we can out there to make it a success.
Cheers

had a sneak peek of the track yesterday, wide wide wide track, big jumps, lots of wide open space for some wide open throttle, it's like an oversized flat track with jumps and some rollers thrown in to liven it up a heap more. get on this event QUADRIDERS , FIRE UP
Film crew will be taking footage so who knows, you may even become a TV star

Hi Guys,
Only 2 weeks to go for this demo event and the track is finished and ready to go.
The format will be run over 2 days but will finish mid afternoon sunday so competitors can be home hopefully by dinner time.
The races will be a rolling start with the first lap being under a pace vehicle and run for 4 to 5 laps of racing.
The cost is $30 for seniors and $20 for juniors and rec license is $20.
Camping is available at $20 per car and trailer not per quad.
I am hoping to get at least 10 senior riders (more would be great) and we have a 200cc to 300cc class and 90cc to 125cc class.
The jumps are big with big landings and are fairly safe as trophy karts will be jumping them.Track is over 15m wide the whole way and is a fast track and will be alot of fun.
If you can only make it for one day thats fine , atleast you'll see what the track is like .
Tony (owner of loveday) and Rick (trophy kart owner) have spent alot of time and money building the track so please support the event if you can.
Your interest can be on this post or direct to me at smilligan@adam.com.au.
There will be alot of spectators out there so lets put on a good show.
Thanks
