Each night the riders/drivers brief happens in a padock (this pic is of one of the luxury stops) where the organisers outline what dangers lurk for the next day. It's a time for merryment and telling lies of the day.

Neville on the Outlander has finished the days stage and is in 4th outright. As previously mentioned Jason Lucas on the 700XX has had unreported mechanical issues.
As of 10:00PM Darren Bushby on the Raptor is un-classified.

The hazards of racing in the desert.......missed by that much........is the roo lucky or the rider.

Today is Leg 3 and about 500km of racing over 3 stages. The results below are after the 1st stage.
Darren Bushby & Jason Lucas have rejoined the race with time penalties after having issues yesterday.
