| Reason no quads as transport sections are on public roads , 2 of us did it in 01 on quads we both went to our local police station got a permit told them what it was for no problem race day start of 3rd competitive section old guy says im ringing my mate monday morning about you guys his mate worked for transport sa , 3 days later i get ph call from transport sa asking how i got a permit etc and told dont do it again,funny thing is he had no problem with it just the stupid laws , what really gets me 99 percent of the sidecars are mx factory frames no adr ,and no adr is reason quads carnt do it , wish they would bring out a competition permit so quads can do the 24hr and the other 6, 6 hr and 12 hr events . |
