I haven't started my 84 250r for around 2 years I put the head back on with new head gasket and plug , started 4th kick in a cloud of smoke Very Happy
Only problem is it bogs down at high revs I thought it was a gasket problem but it is still doin it even with a new one
The cylinder has oil on it after 5 mins .. Head nuts may not be tight enough but I didn't want it to over tighten them ..may just pinch them on abit more

This is my backup for Australia Day cause I don't think my 82 will be finished Sad

I think it's a jetting or dirty carb problem?
Was working fine then one day it didn't run right
Idles fine just at high revs starts bogging
I've got a vid I will post it up

Take the air filter lid off. May be getting too much fuel.

Put the 82 top end on it...
If the 82 is ready for oz day swap it back.

Although could be the gearbox side crank seal???
