I would love to make one of these! TRX90 quad with a wide arm kit, fab up a swing arm, drop in a pitster pro 160 or 190.....would be alot of fun I think. Even on a larger scale, a Missile kit on the back of a 400ex would work....

Come on Mart and ylwgtr.....you guys could do this in your sleep.....

I reckon it would powerslide like a champion!
Smoothies on the front, paddle on the rear....rip the dunes up!

If two back wheels currently have trouble pushing one and occasionally get bogged in soft sand you would be doing a lot of pushing with one wheel attempting to push two unless on wet packed sand.

i was thinking the same thing.. One wheel climbing a dune would be terrible , you have a hard time on a dirt bike n that weighs a lot less

What Glen is saying is correct. ALTHOUGH ... He did own the tuffest dune trike in oz.

Also, you said that it would power slide like a champion with smoothies on the front and a paddle on the rear... I think it would just push the front all together. Steering would be almost non existent with that set up.

Thinking I could just find a crap ebay quad, second hand for cheap, and try it on that first....wouldnt be hard to fab up a swinger out of some rhs. Setting up a jack shaft on the swingarm pivot to space the chain out would be the tricky bit.
These are interesting....and have a jack shaft setup I could copy....

Thoughts......?
