I've seen some serious mods done to h100 engines... 29hp for road racing.
Cr80 gearbox goes straight in I believe. I think a yz80 ignition peps them up too. Mild porting, decent reed block welded on the back, 28mm carb and a good chamber too will give you 24+ hp. |

| No torque what so ever. Always loved blowing these things away when retro fitted into 70's. |

Sorry Martin if my answer was unsatisfactory, I only answered as I had recently read Marts answer to the same question on Facebook I think it was.
I hope you can make the trip up to ride with us some day dude.
That's when I'll run you over!!!!

I read your post and was going to reply, but it disappeared...
Thought you must have deleted it for some reason...
Ive got a bit of work to finish my trikes before I can come down for a run with you guys, but I will get there.
Problem is, Ive got so many projects on the go, I dont know which one to work on.....
*rebuild boat....half done
*laydown 200 into 70.....half done
*full suspension pit trike.....half done
*cr80 to trike conversion...barely started
*mow lawn....never done.... _________________ The older you get, the more it hurts.....

Ok, the rundown is:
1987 cr80, atc200x forks and clamps ( fit straight on the cr head tube ), 1981 atc250r front hub ( 110x4 ), cut and shut the standard cr80 swinger down to 100mm wide and lathe up some steam pipe for the bearing carrier, atc110 rear axle, 400x rear hubs (110x4 ), 8x6 douglas front rim with 18x6.5x8, 8x8 douglas rear rims with 18x10x8 tires.
Using stock tank and seat, and old cut down 200x front guard...not sure what rear fender will fit tho...maybe atc125m...nicer shape than the 90/110 fender.
If it all turns out ok, I might drop in a cr125 engine later...
Ive got everything except a rear fender and the rims and tires. _________________ The older you get, the more it hurts..... |
