That was one of the reasons I've been selling off mine. _________________

| The place is getting flooded with imports which means a glut and makes the existing ones far less valuable so they get out before the a*se falls out of the market. |

That was another reason I sold mine when I did. I saw the market crashing when trikes that were pulling in $5000 + started to struggle to get $4000.
Bought a basket case 83 250R for $275 sold for $1000
Bought 84 200X for $450 sold for $1200
Bought 82 250R for $1200 sold for $2000
Bought my 84 for $1800 sold for $3000
Then there was a lot imported into the country...
Bought my 86 250R for $4700 sold for $4700.
The last 85R I saw of Bentleys on ebay reached its reserve of $3500 and sold for $3700.
In a way I'm glad I needed the money when I did and sold when I did as the $$$ aren't in them now.
When I save a few $ up I plan on doing an 86 build and with all the trikes around I can't see why I couldn't pick up 1 that needs a bit of work for around $2500.
With all the oem nos parts I had and sold I lost money on most of those parts. _________________

Was just thinking the same thing. There is so many performance ATC's on gumtree at the moment heaps of 250rs and a few 350x. I'm getting keen on buying one but people are over pricing them as far as I'm concerned. Wait another few months and more and more will pop up due to imports. Hopefully nobody buys them so the market value gets driven down! Lots of trikes for sale on the west coast too. Maybe the legal riding spots over there are coming to a halt too?
