Most of us have sold up at the moment I think. I sold all my gear now and I think a few other have too. Just getting too tight with the rules and eventually everyone has enough.

I'm definitely out though, wife will have had twins by then and I reckon if I say 'going for a ride on the beach' she'll have my nuts mounted on the wall as a hunting trophy!

The good old days when you could ride wherever you wanted, no rego needed, 80 -100 trikes and buggies every weekend, no 4wd's tearing the place to bits, beautiful car park, no rutile mining, riding the huge bowls in the basin and best of all no traditional "owners" seeking to turn a profit and impose their new found connection to the sand on the rest of us.

Dad has told me stories of days gone by at Stockton in VW buggies and on trikes.
They would have been great to experience.

ok so we are just 3 weeks off lets get this organised. meet time will be 9am. We can park up on the beach again. I wont be able to as no 4x4 anymore but will be there a bit before 9.

lets get a final count on the day. I think sunday would be best for those traveling as less traffic compared to the sat/mon.

again lets all pitch in and bring something along. Snags, portable bbq, Drinks, rolls, onions.

ill brings some cans and bottles of water

Hey all,

I'm thinking this needs a venue change.

It surely can't be a lack of interest, I still have my 3's. I'm sure others have there 3heelers or a quads.
Could a Australia Day ride still happen if it's in another location or on different terrain. "profanity removed" yea.
Some people talk about their shuting us out so let's go elsewhere.

Would the privately run properties have an issue with ATC.
They might have grass tracks, mx tracks, trails etc or all.
You won't have to get rego and give those bastards ya money.

Just puttin it out there

Paul

I think this place would be an awesome place to ride they allow 3 wheelers and they do not have to be registered! http://www.biketerritory.com.au/page20802/Home.aspx

Yea something like that but think that's about 7 hour drive from Sydney could be more for you.
Is there something closer.
