Thought id get the ball rolling, heres a 'sticky' for everyone to post suggestions/details on times/dates etc.
my first suggestion would have to be, have half day of races and the arvo on the hillclimbs, perhaps time trials??

Im waiting to see what happens from May 1st & get some feed back from 'Nat Pks',before getting my hopes too high.Cuzo is going to a meeting at some time with them,so Im keen to know what developes.Otherwise,IM THERE.   ----It should be easier nxt time as we have a fair idea on how to set it up.Main day=Sunday(easier for travellers),a few more signs,similar track markers as we saved the 'sticks' we collected,a sheet of 'mesh' to 'dress' the trk occasionally-those woops near the finish were getting huge,maybe some witchs hats for some slalom races or go to whoa.???

According to a brochure I picked up on the weekend from National Parks, Recreational vehicles will still be permitted after May 1st. I think the only change will be stricter RTA Conditional Registration enforcement as National Parks have more Rangers than Port Stephens council do. The permit for a weekend will be $10 or $30 annual.

I think they will enforce where we can ride.(Meant to be a 300mt wide strip to get in & about 100mts up from the water  from the ship wreck north 15kms,which is 7.5 ks south of Anna Bay.)We were NEVER meant to be on the dunes ,hill climbs OR THE BASIN.

True. The Port Stephens Rangers never really enforced the rec. riding areas apart from the Anna Bay entrance and some other entrances. Most of them were pretty easy to get along with.
Anyway, I'll be there.
Out of curiosity, what's going to happen to Tin City with NPWS running it now?

Has anyone had any encounters with the new rangers(since 1st May) , esp when theyve been off the official allowed riding areas? -----Are the beach permits available yet & can you get them at the Metro servo on Lavis Ln.?
