Definately Quads allowed,Drew said so.Park is booked out by DBW so $s count.Last year was at Catombal near Wellington NSW.Lochmarree is priv prop. so no rego is needed,but its surrounded by lots of forest/nat park land so regoed vehicles can go out some gates on extended rides(legaly).All the bunk accomadation is taken allready so only camping is still available, which is not normally allowed.Basically its arrive,ride,drink,sleep,ride,drink,sleep,ride,drink,sleep,ow no its monday,quick ride,pack up,go home,bugger,isn't it a bitch how work interupts your social life...Sunday last year there was a poker run where you did laps around a 10ish km circuit(may be a bit tight for quads,i did it on my 2whlr) getting a card at the end of each lap.After 5 laps you could keep going,surrendering a card before getting another one for each extra lap.I did six laps giving me about 5th best hand,i got to choose from what was left of a heap of things.I took a oil pack of 6lts of mobil racing 4st eng oil. .........could go on here forever......Hey Jon,Im 90% there,lots of water under my bridge before then.Im predicting lots of water under lots of bridges soon. _________________ Cheers-Redted. 04 Raptor

DBW 7 was great I must say...
Tonnes of tracks, hill climbs, creek crossings and not too much mud, we had a great time.
Pity the caretaker and owner won't have us back... due the to insurance for Quads...
Good all round weekend.
Was good to catch up with other DBW/OZATV quad riders.... |

DBW7 was a blast the trails within the park are essentially single line but we did find enough to keep ourselves amused. the sat arvo/night ride was something else, although not a planned thing Redted mark jason and my self thought a 3pm ride not too bad an idea until redted snapped an a-arm balljoint, we towed it for a while then left it in a flowing creek overnight before battling on and with the sun going down and no F#$@ing idea where we were we found what were possibly the hardest tracks to negotiate in the dark. trees across tracks and a track width of about 1' we were really behind the 8 ball, finally we made it back to hear the search party spotted us as we come out of the bush only moments before. jason i mentioned earlier has only been on one other ride on his 450 but NOW knows what trail riding is all about
INJURIES = nil
QUAD INJURIES = 1 a-arm ball joint(redted)
1 tie rod bent like a banana( rapmat)
1 sticky clutch cable (jason)
1 rear flat (madkwaka)
PRIDE = intact
POO = in pants again
a good time by all

Technical reasons, yes well, after the break in on the Monday fortnight before, they scored one of my bikes and all my riding gear I could have begged and borrowed the riding gear and all was looking ok. but when the niebours house got done the monday before the event the ball and chain was well entrually locked, I cant blame her though, scarry stuff when your only 5 metres away from the garage and we heird nothing...
The weekend was, without any more trouble and gave me time to install a new zone to the garge with a CTV camara out the front, that should make the ba#@*%ds think twice. So all should be good for the next one.... _________________ 04 Polaris Predator 500 with mods
