QLD!!!! The place to be... lol
About 20 minutes by car to the centre of the CBD.
We need a bigger shed. Laughing A shed that was originally built to hold 1 quad and 3 bikes now holds 3 quads (2 banshee's and 400ex) and 3 bikes (cr80, yz85 and rm65) Pretty crammed in there. Neutral

Currently living in the Pilbara in W.A. This place has everything. Six months of swimable weather, five minutes from the coast, great fishing, camping, and miles and miles of rideable tracks. Only thing missing is a decent level of high school education, hence our move back to Victoria next year for the kids sake.

Good Old VIC for me, it rains here occasionally so we don't have to ride in dust all the time.

Heaps of quad riding/racing going on all the time.

There were some people we knew who did the same thing... shifted down here when the kids needed to go to High School...
theyve shifted back up to Port Hedland all ready...

Another Mexican here, although I'm prepared to move to the first state to introduce a workable rec reg system & places to ride, - we're a fickle bunch down here.......

Moranbah Central Queensland

Lots of good things
1. My bike lives at work, come 5pm, riding gear on, 90 secs from the gate (NO EXGAGERATION) to the start of our local common riding area laughing

2. 3.5 mins from gate to a block of land (again NO EXGAGERATION) myself and 9 other quad riders lease. It's has a work in progress track that is about 2.5 mins per lap..... has some good tall berms, couple of good jumps, 1 flat full throttle corner, positive camber hairpins, doubles. laughing and a small dam laughing laughing

3. Some small town benifits, our kids love it here all their mates 5-10 mins push bike ride away, I live 5 mins from work (not sure if thats a bonus sometimes), every quad rider knows each other or of each other, we have a really good cross section of quads here approx 5 ltr, 5 yfz, 7 banshees, 10 raptors (660, 700, 1 of them really sweet looking new SE type), 1 outlaw, 1 kawa 700, couple of trx, plenty of ag type quads and dozens of kiddies quads all living within a 5km radius laughing laughing laughing

4. 3 of the fellas I work with ride as well (only them things with 2 wheels but I don't hold that against them)

But there are a few downsides,

1. Dust !

2. Dust !

3. Dust !

4. The local motox track I can (for the last time NO EXGAGERATION) land a rock on the track from our front gate at work but our narrow minded local motox cross club has seen fit to ban us from being members because we damage the track and our so called professional 2 wheel riders have nowhere decent to practice. The main gripe is we smooth the ruts on corners, forgive me if I'm wrong but I thought those things with 2 wheels were called motox bikes not slot bikes. It is a massive tease listening to bikes at the track every day Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

5. Lack of racing. 1 race meeting a year close to us (120 kms away)
everything else would be a minium 400k trip. This years state title approx 800k away.

6. Did I mention dust ! It doesn't rain here very much.

Sounds good. I think it is about 2hrs away from you. Might be able to help a couple of you guys out on the riding to. My mates Mum owns the farm and is letting us use the bobcat, dozer and maybe even the D11 to build a track. Evil or Very Mad He rides one of those funny looking 2 wheeled contraptions Laughing

gee I wouldn't mind havin access to a D11. bit of a dual purpose, would definately speed up the track building, would also help in the war to rid the world of them 2 wheel contraptions.

I live where I live so me & my boys can ride quads.
10mins any direction you go are beaches, dunes & tracks enough to empty our fuel tanks have the whole show to ourselves - what else could you want? Oh yeah.... racing nothing on for kids round here.
