lock in the below dates!

Qld quad riders association is proud to announce that the Roma Motorcycle club is to hold the qld champs on November 3 and 4th at the Roma Mx club. This will be a 2 day event with a full range of classes with new classes including a utility (farm quad) class, state of origin, and the classic ironman !
The track is a traditional wide open layout with obstacles aplenty. Tabletops, single jumps and a challenging course to suit all levels.
More details to come.
QQRA

***Roma is approx 5-6 hours west of brisbane, and they tell me it is the same distance to roma from melbourne as it is to brisbane. this is due to the direct inland road.****

There is a few of us coming down from CQ.
The track at Roma is great for quads, very fast and flowing with huge berms, almost like riding a roller coaster, will be a great weekend.

Hey Todd,
Is Worthy still coming up for the Qld's. And is he going to bring his posse like at the stadium event in Brissy? Would be good to see you all again. Smile

the state of origin is a 3 person team event with the people picked on the day of the event. this will be one of the last events on sunday and is an awesome race.
each state picks an a,b, and c grader and they then race 4-5 laps flat out with the points from each rider tallied up. the state with the most points wins the big trophy. easy! eg. 3 riders from nsw, 3 riders from qld etc etc.

this along with the ironman are the races of the weekend and are awesome to watch.

Hey Sikmic,
If enough people come from Victoria they would have their own team.
I wouldn't say to much about the thrashing the NSW riders will get after what happened at the stadium event in brisbane.
We could have a NSW vs QLD vs VIC vs NT if enough riders from each state are present.

Speaking of the NT. Huskygoat I am sure there will be plenty of riders in the womens class, so your wife can race for sure. And Darwin is roughly 2952km from Roma. See you here.

Regards from the Madman.

It is an awesome track , We were lucky to have a coupla Quad rider's input into designing and building the track , they made the corners and jumps nice and wide specifically for quad safetyand plenty of passing options Cool

Yer mate that would be the best place to start , and most fun , we have a few clubman here that have only raced once or twice and they would all make you feel more than welcome Cool
It would only be a waste of time if you didn't ride , cause once you see it you know you'll want to laughing

I ride in C class here all the time, even if it is only to get a ride in somewhere where everyone is going the same way.

I am old enough to not worry where I come in a race but just happy to finish, give it a go, you will have a ball.. laughing
