anybody have a 86 250r cdi or ignition coil spare.I have lost spark.Checked stator and pickup coil resistance and are correct as per manual but ignition coil resistance is twice what it is suppose to be in manual.So im assuming its stuffed.I dont know if you can test the cdi other than changing it.Can anyone help?

I was told you can put an 89 TRX CDI in an 86 and it advances the timing and peps her up a bit! Someone correct me if im wrong.
they are pretty common on ebay.
