I think with all that is going on with Stockton at the moment it would be in our best interest to form a 3wheeler club.
If we wait for the 4wheelers to do anything it could be too late. And if they do we could be Linked to them some how.
We should get together soon and talk this through if anyone is keen.
We need to work out
1. A name.
2. A committee.
3. A plan.
this could also be a great chance to meet everyone else that is obsessed with 3wheelers and really cement a 3wheeling community as we don't always get a chance to ride at the same time.
Lets get a time and a place, and create a voice.
any suggestions?

I am already a member of two local clubs, one Hot Rod and one Harley, how about a barbie or sausage sizzle to kick things off.
Either at a park or someones house, I would be willing to have the first one here but need to take into account that I do 7 day a week shift work.
If you plan a date and I know early enough I can possibly get a swap.
Just let me know if I can assist.

I reckon we should have no problem getting between 10 to 20 trike riders in Newcastle together for a sausage sizzle.

Im in , we can also co-ordinate events and notices though our now dedicated section in Australian ATV Action(out soon),lets get our heads together and make it happen !
The trike day shown in that pic above was a great turnout and showed the interest that still exsists for these machines,not to mention that issue of the mag was a big seller,we even made coverage in the US !

OK then, I'm good for the 25th of November, say 1200pm.
Do we have a venue that is central to everyone?
I know Glen said we could do it at his house but I'm not sure if his house is ready for 20 or so blokes. It may be better at a park or a club / pub. If we did it at Stockton nothing would happen cause we would all be riding.
Suggestions? |

some bloke in Victoria
says "he likes to sit down have a smoke and look at them" lol
he also has 3 250R's,a tecate3 and 2 TRI-Z's and a coulple of little ones aswell

Can I join mum. My Trike is a little different thou.It has a motorcyle wheel at the rear and a quad front end.(for the dyno)
THATS STILL A TRIKE ISN'T IT ???

hey, say we do get this happening, Glen aka Oldrodder has ties to Rickshaw's. maye we could dump a "profanity removed" load of sand at their next rod show, polish up our rims and wipe the fuel spills off, and have our own club display. PC could bring along a screen and projector and show Stuey's movies.

I think thats a cool idea,we have some hot looking 3 wheelers locally that could put on a good display.

We could maybe have a ride/bbq day organised once a month  .
This will be a good excuse for me to drag out the old 200x out and atcually use it  .

As discussed with Paul who started this thing the First meeting will be at my house between 12 noon and 1pm on this Sunday the 25th of November.
A light lunch will be supplied.
(If weather is good you can ride early then drop in for lunch or alternatively come here for lunch then ride in the afternoon.)
