Take your bearings to any of the bearing shops in newy, it will cost you a quarter of what they will from honda.
What do you need doing to your motor? You will pay through the nose at any of the bike shops and you'll be pushing to get it done before Xmas.
If it's the top end I could help you out.
PM me.

eek
For engine bearings,(especially crank bearings) buy genuine parts . Most bearing suppliers will be able to match bearing sizes but the important thing with say crank bearings is the "radial clearance" number which determines the intended use. Using the wrong bearing may lead to vibration and or failure. Even if the genuine parts cost $20 a bearing more its well worth it. Wink

the original crank bearing have only 6 large balls and a rather thin inner and outer race. CR500 has 9 balls (and can be used). I purchased after market mains from racergirlstock on ebay. They have 13balls and a nice thick race.

these guys are a American bearing supplier that has gone to the trouble of identifying models needed and offering them under the bike models name rather than the bearings part number. They have all the seals as well. I saw recently a kit with every bearing and seal needed for a complete overhall. it seemed to be on a par $ wise with buying locally but they've done the leg work.

2 items you have to buy genuine at a great expense are;
* one of the balance shaft bearings. This is a comon bearing but it has a groove machined in it for a retainer ring
*And the mechanical seal on the water pump (about $65+)
