When: Sunday 1st October 2006 (Meet at 11am, try and be racing by 12)
Where: Stockton Beach, NSW. Meet at Lavis Lane carpark.
Drag racing will be held behing Pages hill near the lagoon.
Looking to organise an sand drag event at stockton beach on the October long weekend, it will be a social event aimed at having some good competitive fun so all are welcome.
Will be a 1/8th mile track, and if enough turn up there will be classes to try and keep it competitive for everyone.
There is also heaps of hill climbs, jumps, tracks closeby aswell if drag racing isnt your thing
IMPORTANT: All Quads/bikes must have Recreational Rego to ride on Stockton beach, this is to cover insurance etc, available from the RTA, not sure on cost etc but i will let you all know before the event.
And all Vehicles must have a beach permit, available from the servo at the entrance to Lavis lane, this means ALL vehicles (cars, quads etc)
There are rangers who patrol the beach and can issue fines ($90) for not having either rego or permit
More details as they develop, if any one needs directions etc let me know and i will organise a map.
This is an event for EVERYONE, more the merrier.

Bigbore and enduros arent the issue if you cant ride you can have stroker it meens nothing.But a straight line race is 4 everyone and any one if you cant go straight and change gears you shouldnt be out there.
But if you dont have horse power then you can call for other events which is cool but this topic is about horse power not going around corner or of jumps etc but you are welcome to show us your machines performance.

sorry wrong bet, but the idea of the day is for EVERYONE to have fun, there is a good spot in which we could organise a bit of a race with turns, jumps, whoops etc.
this should be good if everyone shows up,

sounds awsome ill be there...there currently building a drag strip hill so two bikes can race each other to the top ..i seen a banshee blow of that r1

| i will set up a speedway style track around the water in the basin it is a very fast track , the water is very full at the moment , should be good around october, there is also a good jump next to the drag strip , i think it would be good just to come and watch with a stubbie in hand..... |

2)3x 10 Laps of the MX Track (Near the Quarry)
3)3x 10 Laps of Speedway
Ill put down a hundy.
Its all about competing and racing,horsepower is only one part of the equation .
