I am restoring a 1983 ATC 250R and probably like most of us have a very poor condition chain slider.
If possible I would like to borrow a new old stock or excellent condition chain slider so that it can be copied.
For your trouble if you lend me a new old stock one you will receive 2 new reproduction items.
Also if you could let me know if you require one of these the initial order will be cheaper.
pm me or drop me an email if interested.
Thanks
Glen. |

Looks like I may have got hold of a near new one to copy.
Price to get made in Newcastle was about $100 each - No deal
We will be getting some made from another source and the quote was between $40 to $50 so if you want one please let me know, possibly the more we order the cheaper they will be.
Should be ready late Jan/early Feb 2008. |

If anyone out there has a New Old Stock 1983 or 1984 ATC 250R Chain Slider put away for that upcoming resto or some other reason would you please consider lending it to me so as to get a better reproduction.
Apparently the one that I thought was good had been used and broken and glued back together |

I have given up on this as no one world wide seems to have one or wants to lend a New Old Stock chain slider so as to get a decent reproduction built.
The bloke can build one from the old one but then the cost will be $100 each with a minimum order of ten due to the amount of extra work required to get the mould up to a high standard, and I for one don't have that kind of money to spend just to get a decent chain slider.
So if anyone knows of anywhere in the world they may be reproducing these please let us know. |
