mate you should very happy, you have done what any decent bloke would do (even a raptor rider) and that is work hard, keep your family and put a roof over their head. Stuff the rest and keep what your doing...

But for their sake buy a decent quad, and you know which one I'm talking about... Wink

My mother in law has hated me for 20 odd years or so.She purposely made my missus about 40 min late for our wedding hoping i'd have thought she wasn't coming and done a runner to the nearest pub .My best man and i were about to bail in the next minute or two.Even the preist was asking if she was comming.Later that day she told me that she that she thought her daughter should have done better than to marry a boy from Footscray, she was crushed when i laughed and said oh well your stuck with me now.
After 18 yrs she has drove all her other kids away but we're still here and now she wants to glom on to us .
Haha to little too late

In the end what goes around comes around and you make your life what you want it to be. GYTR raptor good on you for giving your kids the chance to do what you did and still do in riding. I had to wait till i could afford a quad of my own as my parents weren't that well off to experience the joys of getting out there and riding. Two big thumbs up to ya.

hey raptor
could be worse. I just listen nod and pretend i don't hear most of it but we don't drink we don't do drugs we only have our work our kids and our bikes and if any body can't accept that it's their problem. We worked out what was important to us and we try to do the best by our kids with what we have got. WE don't own a house or a big TV or new car but we have had some awesome experiences with our kids and each other. And I hope my kids continue with their quads - because it takes money and is fun without ice or any of that crap.

Think that i married your mrs's sister,,,, her parents are about the same.
Nothing is ever good enough, I went through college to get a youth work degree, work with tasmania police with underage offenders and now work at a primary school as well as run a succesfull sign bussiness with my partner.

But because of one little mistake when I was 18 they don't like me...

Goodluck with it gytr and you doing a great job keeping it all together..

I was out shopping the other day when I saw six women beating my Mother-in-Law up. As I stood there and watched, her neighbor, who knew me, said, "Well, aren't you going to help?" I replied, "No. Six of them is enough".

Q: What do you do if you miss your Mother-in-Law??
A: RELOAD, AND TRY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Two men were in a pub. One says to his mate, "My Mother-in-Law is an angel." His friend replies, "You're lucky. Mine is still alive."

Q: What do you have when your Mother-in-Law is covered in concrete up to her shoulders?
A: Too little concrete!

Q: How do you stop your Mother-in-Law from drowning?
A: Take your foot off her head.

Q: Why would you rather deal with a vicious dog than your mother-in-law?
A: A vicious dog eventually lets go!

Last night the local peeping Tom knocked on my Mother-in-Law's door, and asked her to shut her blinds.

A man finds a lamp, rubs it, and sure enough a genie appears. The genie tells the man he may have 2 wishes. He will get whatever 2 things he wishes, BUT whatever he gets, his M-other-in-Law will get double. The man thinks for a while & then proclaims "1. I'd like a million dollars. 2. Beat me half to death".

A couple drove several k's down a country road, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument, and neither wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules and pigs, the wife sarcastically asked, "relatives of yours?"
"Yep," the husband replied, "In-laws."

My wife asked if I wanted to go to her parents for tea.

I said, 'no thanks, I'm allergic to nuts.'
