Hi Mex, welcome aboard. If you have look up the top of the 3 Wheeler list there is a section for ebay items (parts n stuff) and another for trikes found for sale. If you post in there they stay at the top of the list as they are "stickys" (that means they stick to the top of the list) anyhow, enjoy the forum, BC

Definitely has 85 seat and the guy says its an 85 in the add.
BUT WAIT! the motor looks 86 grey not 85 black and the frame does not appear to have the lugs for the tail light like an 85 has!

85 seat thin Vs 86 seat thick
85 has black motor Vs 86 gunmetal grey
There the 2 most obvious
85 has tail light lugs welded on the frame at the rear under wear the grab bar bolts on, but not the 86
There are suppose to be 240 differences between them.
the more you break stuff and have to replace, the more you notice

Couple more,
CDI and harness was different.
Top triple clamp was black on the '86.
Headlight switch was different.
Rear brake calliper had a stay arm on the '85.
Callipers on the '85 are black,'86 are grey.
Axle carrier was smaller diameter on the 85.
Front steering rake was different.
Fuel cap is different.

And the list goes on.

I personally think its an 85,also looks like it has a low profile Maier rear race fender...maybe.
