hey every 1 i have just bought a set of twin cd 175s for my sigma turbo build, but the thing is they arent working, i have a holley blue pump with a regulator and i have put it down to about 3 psi, the probelms is when the pump comes on the carbys are squirting fuel out of the front of the carby i think its a breather hole for the float bowel. i have take the float chambers off the carbys and there was a lot of black gunk that had set and gone hard in there, it was on everything, the main nedles, the float nedle was jammed the works,, i have since cleand all i can se and have replaced the float lever needle and reset the float lever. with the carby inverted and the float chamber emoved there is a small brasslooking pipe next to the main jet what is this for as it was blocked with the gunk but i have cleaned all i can out of it but im unsure where it leads,, also is the outlet i have marked in blue in the picture a fuel return line? these carbys are orig from a sigma turbo and they dont have the adjustment for the main jet..
any info on this would be great, thank you, Paul

I used to run these things years ago on my EH (you young blokes thats pronounced eeeeeeeehaitch its a holden.) where your fuel is coming out, means you need them rebiult, simple as that, there's a diaphram behind tht I think, they would not run regardless, once they come off a another car they always stuff up Get them recoed by a professiional and get then to tune them in and then leaver them alone. There will be 1000 su experts out all having fiddle and adjust, well dont let them. Seek professional help. _________________ 2005 KFX700

mate, i think you are putting the fuel into the vent holes! i think the fuel should be going in on the left side, where the blue circle is in the picture. let me check up and i will let you know in a couple of days.
