The forum might be a bit to small for every month. What about 2 months? 1 onth to post up entries and 1 month for everyone to get a vote in. Gives those who are not weekly regulars a chance to enter/vote.

Great idea.
Another site I manage has also got a caption of the month competition running, which might be another option.
Prizes can be sourced, and most likely will come from sponsors on the site (which is getting closer to implementation each day). It might be as simple as an ozatv.com sticker through to vouchers at various part suppliers.
And perhaps the new features + prizes = more forum members as word gets out.

think we should get this off the ground - i can prob help out with prize for 1st comp + maybe someone on forum could knock up or get hold of some sort of small trophy/ribbon for each winner.
might need few rules eg: limiting no's for easier voting & no consecutive entries so we don't look at same machines each comp.

I'm hoping that sponsors for the site coming on board soon would be able to provide something from time to time.
