cant wait.. thanks tony,i just cant wait to get on it and round up dad on the 350...
dad informed me of more bad news today, as that our parts we sent to be powdercoated have not even been started yet, and we gave them to them 2 weeks before xmas.. oh well.. it will happen..

but on a better note..
while i was being edumecated school today, dad installed the motor and the exhaust.. and a couple of other small things...

we cant even crank the motor over to see if it has a spark, cos the kick start is at the powdercoaters.. cant put it on the ground with the wheels on, because the wheels are at the powdercoaters, and we have no swingarm bolt.. oh well.. slowly but surely...

Mate just gotta work with what you got, relying on other people to do things becomes annoying.
I just wish I could do it all myself.
Whilst waiting on the powder coater and my machinist I will get all the brakes rebuilt and anything else I can do without the missing bits Rolls eyes eek
I have asked my boss ( read wife) for a mill/lathe for my birthday!!!!!!!

well..
we got the wheels back from the powdercoaters.. also the handlebars and some black stuff like the foot pegs etc...
Tony brought over some presents, which were a new switch and a swingarm bolt.. so..

the handlebars are on.. everything else like the foot pegs were on.. looking great.. and then dad went to put on the kickstart and kick it over.. but, the kick start just freely span.. so therefore he opened up the clutch and found a cog in the gearbox had come loose..
dont no how.. or why..
so we had to take the whole lot out once more.. and fix it..
as we said.. one step forward 2 steps back.. Mad

dad also order some Kenda Klaws for her aswell..
pics later..!
Very Happy

The wheels and back axel put together..

I changed machine shops and had some new swingarm bushes made, unlike the originals they have roller bearings inside each bush, where as the Honda ones only had a bearing in one side and a metal bush on the other.
These new bushes will be available from Ric at ATC Heaven if your in need of fixing your '83 or '84 250R swingarm up.

Tomorrow I will pick up the new chain sliders that I have had made, I will post pics of them then.
They also will be available from Ric.
Next some tryes and then the dunes.
