I have a motorola for work and hate the charger connection, works only when it wants to.

So I would stay away from them if possible, some of the other staff have the new nokia and they absolutly love them....

The nokia N95 has a 5 megpixel camera and can be connected directly to your tv and plays full size movie clear as a bell

Glad you caught the bugga as well ,, see technology has its benefits

ive got the new sony ericcson w880i.

it was expensive but its an awesome phone, very slim, very easy to use. the buttons are a bit small, but you get used to it quickly, it only becomes a problem when your drunk!

its real strong too, dropped it heaps of times! only thing i dont like about it is the charger connection, sometimes it doesnt start charging when you first plug it in, have to have a couple go's. it has excellent battery life however.

I just upgraded after years having the same phone..
I have Nokia 6288 slide phone with a 2mp camera...
it does ok, I only usually text and the odd phone call
Optus plan with 4 free numbers to call, covers my whole family to call them all for free.
Has anyone got the Nokia thats has the "navman" stuff and takes Micro SD cards?

awesome phone so many features
5mp camera

internet
email
upload video straight to you tube
will take 8 gig sd card

gps is nearly as good as my magellan with right program
will track your riding then upload to google earth to see exactly where you have been. max speed ,average speed, altimeter,

browse this forum and post from phone features are endless and programs are easy to install and run.
only prob is battery life but has to run a big screen ( for a phone that is)

watch that you don't get talked in to taking a ZTE - if you let em go flat you can't charge them and have to go back to the dealer for a force charge and mine wouldn't allow we to send text messages. ZTE replaced it twice then it got stolen which was a blessing... got a samsung which is a dream
