I agree that all went well and a big thanks does need to go to Rick and Terri as they did not stop all weekend.
Not to put a dampner on things but we as a family are really disappointed that there was an alleged thief. ( not blaming anyone as it might of been someone in the public not that here where many spectators)
Riders be aware of the fact that someone went around and stole every fuel breathing pipe we had on our quads - the boys won these at the Vics last year and we had tyres let down also. Very disappointed !!!!!
I have one thing to say -

was an awsome weekend it was my first race eva on a quad ..
it was great to see th turn out i had a blast thanxs heaps to all the organisers for a top day...

Kids knock off the funniest things. My boys have an attraction to "hexes" (the caps on mag wheels) You can be walking down the street and they are constantly looking for the best looking set of wheels with the coolest caps.
They don't knock them off (or so they say and I have never caught them) but they always know people who do.
When they ride to school they take the caps off and put them in their bag otherwise kids take them. |

They must have been looking for ours in Amandas purse, luckily they only found the $250 she had hidden away in there. It was a financial stretch to get there as it was, but to find that some scumbag had knocked this off is going to make things tight for a bit.
I guess thats the only problem with the sport getting bigger, we're bound to end up with somedishonest people among us. Very sad

When I first heard that some fuel breathers were stolen I was a little bit miffed and said to myself...."kids".....what can you do.
But in the last few days as I've heard more and more storries I've moved beyond miffed and progressed in to upset that anyone could target so many people in out community in such a shitty way.
Now I'm really pissed!!!!, to think that someone has gone through a fellow members personal belongings and has stolen money is way beyond "kids"........I tell you now, I hope this person does get cought; I really hope its not me that catches them.

What a dissapointment for such a great event to be tarnished by this kind of behavior, maybe we should look at the open pits policy in the future if it continues, the bike stuff whilst annoying pales compared to the invasion and theft from personal property, and my sympathy to the Watsons and anybody else who was robbed, be assured this will be followed up on.

| We displayed 2 quads in front of the trailer for the day with the keys in them, nothing was taken off them but very sad we now have to take safer actions to make sure nothing happens to our quads. i knew leaving the trailer their overnight would not be a problem because the quad guys and girls are a great bunch of poeple........VERY ANGRY !! |

When I first read this I thought it must be kids, now I'm beginning to wonder. Shame its put a downer on the weekend. I enjoy taking our boys to the quads because everyone looks out for each other, i hope this was a one off thing and doesnt happen again. We didnt lose anything but our gear was locked up in the trailer on Sat. night -- i am assuming the problem happened Sat. night, or was it during the day? On the positve side, great job done by the Beer family and Co.-- well done. After driving home I once again realize how much effort Rick goes to each time he comes to a Vic. meeting. Your a champ Rick!!
