Just spent the weekend at Mills Creek raceway, how does 814 entries sound!! Wimmer cleaned up on the new LTR, evidently they got even more power than last year. overall results, Wimmer Suzuki 1st, Byrd honda 2nd, Gust suzuki 3rd. results don't tell full story, Natalie can-am was up there but heavy side clash with Weinen suzuki, broke Natalie's tie rod. will post pics and video soon as I work out how to get it off my PDA on on to youtube.

Gees Wadey "how does 814 entires sound" it sounds like it would need more than Lynda and myself lap scoring. laughing

Can't imagine so many quads in one place.

just got back to the land of Oz. Got to say, we seen some of the best quad racing [ also supercross in Dallas, Reedy creamed em! ] you could ever see. Everyone was so incredibly hospitable, all keen to know what the quad scene is like here. one family even took us along to see a MBA basketball game, which Jono thought was pretty cool. The pit area at the quad event was something else, Can Am, Kawasaki, Suzuki Yamaha Honda all had multiple factory team setups with B Double size trailers, workshops and hopitality trailers. Everyone in the industry there is saying the sport has grown massively, hard to describe the size of the pit area, imagine 100 or so huge semi trailer type setups plus hundreds of private motorhome/race trailer setups that are still bigger than most we've got here in OZ. All to do with the amount of sponsors theyve got involved. Even seen one $450,000 mobile home/worshop/transporter all set up for one 13 year old kid. Dustin Wimmer-just awesome to watch-- almost in a league of his own, damn impressive. Talking to a few engine builders, saying last years benchmark was around 62 hp at the back wheels [ 450 cc max. ], this year Suzuki have pushed it 2-3 more, !!!. so everyone else is struggling to match them. When you see a field of those bikes hit the start straight fully pinned, you can feel the horsepower though the ground. They dont seem to worry that this sort of HP dramatically shortens engine life, most of the top teams seem to be prepared to rebuild engines almost every meeting, according to their mechanics. Anyone here who turns down an opportunity to see one of their National ATV events has got rocks in their head! Go check it out.

Did you organize this yourself or did you go on a tour?

organized myself. Done it a few years ago with oldest son, Cam. so wasnt as difficult this time. At least this time we got a decent Pontiac to drive rather than Grand Marque marshmallow junk box we had last time
