Hi all,
I have put up a low res 3 minute movie file to give you an idea of the track for the Thumb Pump 30. It is a 25mb file so it will take a while to load, and it is pretty low res.
Hope it helps

Good call Gaz.
Yeah it is mainly fast open stuff.
The footage is me running in the new Can-Am.
(maybe not the nicest way to do it you all say, but it went straight to the line at an MX race the next day. So I think I was being nice).
I could easily push to the top of top gear so a DS450X will need at least an extra tooth on the front sprocket.
Unless it rains that day... it will be dusty too.
So an outerwears would make good sense.

I didn't do the whoop section because it was just way too scary... eek
They are just so massive I don't think anyone will come out alive... eek
Smitty saw a picture of them and started crying... eek
I reckon Worthy would shake in his boots if he even had to walk through them... eek
You couldn't even see Yogies head in the troughs if he was standing on the big Kwaka... eek eek eek

Nar, their a piece of p1ss laughing

I honestly think everyone will love this track.
It has a bit of everything and will suit all skill levels. Cool

Having said that the fastest lap will be scary as sin.
I'm sure there will be a few riders out there who throw some blisteringly quick times that most of us will find hard to believe.

probably between 30 and 45 mins per lap.

It'll be great. Smile

There are lots of trees Yogie. Crying or Very sad
Try focussing between them... instead of through them.

I guess the positive is you'll make the track wider for more overtaking opportunities. laughing

if you have google earth installed you can view the track and campgrounds by downloading the attatchments from the following source

http://www.dualroost.com.au/forum/index.php?topic=238.0

i tried to put it up here with no luck so its over there

bear in mind the track is only a very rough guide of the actual track and may vary come race day but it will give you an idea

What type of trees are they, some may seem this is a strange question but am wondering how easily they'll break upon impact, have bent quite a few wheels and bumpers due to trees in the past.
Gonna be FUN!!

Surely you'd know what I'm on about smitty. It's just up here if I hit a Brigalow or Belah tree they'll only bend and can bite back, but if I can hit a pine tree they'll just snap and the same with most eucalypt varieties which the trees on that track seem to be, which isn't suprising being on sandy country. Just taking all things into consideration.

I reckon you'll get faster lap times if you miss all of them laughing

Only joking.
There are sections that are just bushes, if you come off in those you'll get stuck but probably wont break anything.
There are bigger buggas that will tear your front end off.
There are also the odd malley root type things to bounce over.
Then there are fences and strainer posts too.

A real mixture Jamie.

So B there's some trees
Ride around them
If they move
Swerve them

Sounds like a good recipe Scooter.
You'll be going fairly fast out there mate... so hopefully the trees will all stay relatively still on the day. eek
