I realise that, but what triggers it to have to be approved?

Is it foul language, offensive remarks, anti Yogie chat, etc....

OZ_450's correct. It is part of the Anti-Spam feature on the site, however ever since another anti-spam feature was turned on - the question at registration about how many wheels a quad has - spammers have vanished from the site (or at least the robot ones have).

So the feature for flagging firsts posts will most likely disappear after the site refit.

Took a closer look at the control panel, and seems several topics had also landed in the moderated thread list by possibly just having their link bumped by accident.

All topics should now be moderation free with the list up to date.

remarks like that will have you sent to the member's only section
"KFX Delights" its very exclusive here. Any way the aprove post refers to new members here that havent been "aproved to post freely as yet, and in the buy/sell section I think.

Yogie's correct.

It used to be part of the anti-spam moderation that's been fixed for over a year now.

New members to the site have their first post (or few if you post a few posts before moderators look at the topic) moderated. After that, provided the first posts weren't troublesome, further posts should be auto-approved.
