The Stockton Natzi's are at it once again . A mate of my was fined on the weekend. $10 for parking this road rego 2wd hilux with trailer in the car park at lavis lane. He unloaded this 700r ( which is has rec rego and beach permits) and went on his way . He returned to find that he had been fine. He rang Natzi headquaters on Monday and ask the question. " just a quick question for you" and started to seek anwsers for the fine. He was told that "you need a beach vehicle permit to park in the car park".
This means 4WD's get to pay $30 for a beach permit and can access the whole beach. Where Quads riders pay $30 for a beach permit , $145 for rego and now have to pay $30 to park their transport to and from the beach.
They also told him they have spent $100 thousand dollars upgrading lavis lane also making the carpark bigger in the last 6 months . And the plans are in for restroom/showers.
If you have been up there lately ...............................well...........

thats happened to me n dad before we had to get a $10 permit to park in the car park,I got a $10 fine for not displaying a permit on my trike a few weeks ago.its f**king stupid,stocko is really screwed up now.and its bloody stupid how we have to ride around in the same area with the 4wds.last sundy it was soo chewed up so me n dad headed down to the dunes where it was chewed up aswel and we ended up seeing the cops filming us riding around in there...lol.If you take off into the dunes be very aware of 4wds filming you..If it gets any more screwed up then it is now looks like Im selling my bikes and look for another hobby  |

| They'll try anything wont they. So when was the notice put out that you need a permit to park there? How can they fine people if there is no notice? |

What about the tourists that park there and walk out to the dunes? Or what about the people who park there to access the quad bike tours? This is frickin ridiculous!!! I'll never say never, but I doubt I'll ever go to Stockton again.
To the NPWS that monitor this forum: You've stuffed it up and will not get any more of my money. If this was your objective you have succeeded.
To the businesses of Port Stephens (caravan parks, restaurants, petrol stations, grocery stores, etc.): Since I'm probably not going to Stockton again, you can kiss my tourist dollars goodbye.
To Mr. Rudd: Thanks for keeping your promise of keeping in check petrol & grocery prices. My family is prospering ever since you've become leader.

No way am I going back there, it used to be my favourite place to ride...
What the hell do they think we are, made of money, how fu!@#$% ridiculous..
Well I knew they were trying to hunt us away, but it is in concrete, they can shove it up their a!@#$...
Port Stephens and the local area are going to see how much business they get now that no quad riders will be around....
Poor old Garage will end up shutting down, guaranteed...
It is not even worth the drive to take my 4x4 their either... they can sell the friggin hell out of the place and wreck it as much as they want now, surely that is why they don't want us there, no one will be able to report on the destruction of the natural environment, the more they can turn people away the better for their selling of the sand... |

I heard they were considering parking meters 6 months ago. !!
Looks like they scrapped that idea FOR NOW and are just slapping fines out for money instead.!!!
Afterall , its cheaper for them. NO METERS. and NO SECURITY CAMERAS FOR THEM..
IM SO OVER IT ALL AND ALL THE S**T THAT GOES WITH IT.
yesterday was the last beach rego im getting. .......
sorry portstephens council you just lost MORE tourism dollars.

i dont know what the guys who are spose to be on our side are doing but it took 30min to find out what i wonted to know, ring council its there job to tell you the laws boundrys & "profanity removed". i am going to make sum noise about the issue's we going through, what about today tonight or sumone similar up there filming interviewing the circus & the waste of police power 12cops 6bikes 2 4wd patroling 20km of sand.

I think you will find that Port Stephens Council is not really in charge of Stockton Bight anymore... Try Worimi Land Council and NPWS....
Remember that you will be talking to innocent staff at any of these outfits, they dont make the rules... so being rude to them acheives nothing. |

they read these forums and are you forgeting the big posts you guys posted about illegal drag events there and that are still getting held ? maybe you are outlawing yaselves fellas start using your heads and do things legally or they will snuff out your riding area legally by charging you till you cant afford to ride there

the main reasion im pissed is becasue the chick came over to me and checked everything out and said good to see your doing the rite thing,

Yep Its Only Getting Worse!!!! made the decision months back fellas, sold the banshee and brought a ktm exc road rego trail bike, can ride on stocko to now anywhere !!! but mostly doing enduro... 2 wheelers alot harder then the banshee i must say but so much more fun!!! anyways hope it works out for ya's before it gets worse.

Mind you I didnt get booked.
More rego for the car thats all
Hopefully if they make enougth money they will keep it open for us all.
As for the drags yes they where on and who do you think was there to see everything was ok,also the police ??
If we get a few heads togther I have been told to let them no in advance when its on again ,and even to arrange event days.
They are very open.
