During the restoration of my 1983 ATC 250R I continually found that a lot of parts are no longer available.
One of these was the chain slider that protects the front of the swingarm,
I had one made at a machine shop in one piece to get my trike going again but have proceeded to remake the original.
The pictures below are of the remade item, they are made from castable polyurethane and are available from
ATC Heaven at Shortland as I don't wish to handle the shipping etc.
They are not perfect but as good as I could get with what I had to work with (if only I could get a New Old Stock one they could be perfect)
I have also remade the small seals at the back of the swingarm and am currently working on the rectangular bumpers under the front of the seat.
