 |
|
hey guys
my little bro just bought a postie bike for $100 with a seized engine...
i havent pulled it apart yet but its locked up good, and i figure if stuff needs replacing like the crank and piston and so on i might as well bomb it up a bit!
is the engine in the ATC110 trike exactly the same?
does anyone know where to get parts such as stroker cranks, big bore kits, cams etc?
any help greatly appreciated!
thanks, mark _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

but he also just gave me the idea of droppin in a chinese pit bike motor, they r friggin cheap!
what do you think would be more reliable:
1) a bored, stroked, cammed and ported honda motor
or
2) a cheap chinese pit bike motor? _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

| The chinese engines are based on the Honda 70. They have a different engine bolt pattern, different footpeg mounts, different electrics and exhaust system. Apart from that, go for it. |

no, but there are 2 kinds of clutch set ups, one with it on the crank where you need to be in neutral to start is and one with the clutch on the gearbox where you can start it in any gear.
I got one from DHZmoto on ebay for my typhoon at the start of the year. _________________
